2 Men Killed In Late-night Crash

February 2, 2006

Two Santa Ana men were killed when one of them drove through a red light, hit another car and crashed into a wall, killing himself and his passenger.

Jose Hernandez-Castillejo, 21, and Juan Barbosa, 19, were pronounced dead at the scene about 11:30 p.m. Thursday on Lemon Street at the Riverside Freeway.

Hernandez-Castillejo was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer at a high rate of speed when he struck an Infinity driven by John Pace, 48, of Norco, police said.

Pace was not injured.
