Fatal Crash Kills Two On Highway 46

Two people are dead after a head-on collision on Highway 46, just west of Brown Material Road in Lost Hills, Sunday evening.
California Highway Patrol officers say a 26-year-old Los Angeles man, Justino Hernandez, was attempting to pass several cars in his Ford F150 truck when he collided head on with a Dodge Durango SUV, just after 11 p.m.
The passenger inside the SUV, 37-year-old Maria is Adora Lopez of Paso Robles, died at the scene.
According to deputies, a woman and four children inside Lopez's SUV were taken to the hospital.
The driver, who caused the crash, Hernandez, was airlifted to the Kern Medical Hospital, but died early Monday morning.
