Man Wanted For Deadly Crash And Assault

March 10, 2006

Kern County Sheriff's Department is hoping that the public can help them find a man believed to be involved in a deadly crash that killed a local father.

Investigators are looking for 24-year-old Eduardo Ramirez Hernandez.

Ramirez is 5-feet 4-inches tall, about 140-pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities believe Ramirez may have been the driver of the truck that crashed on Pond Road last Saturday, killing 25-year-old Ramon Ramos of Wasco.

It was reported that one of the passengers, Fidel Maldonado, was a victim of assault prior to the accident.

Maldonado is in intensive care.
